Together we Talk…Unity in Diversity for South Asian Heritage Month
This July, the AMBER community is coming together to celebrate South Asian Heritage Month in the truest sense of its official theme: Unity in Diversity.
South Asia is beautiful, sprawling tapestry woven from distinct nations, hundreds of languages, vibrant regional traditions, and deep faith backgrounds. Yet, as South Asian women navigating the modern world, our core journeys—spanning wellness, parenting, careers, and personal finance—often share the exact same heartbeats, struggles, and triumphs.
To honor this, AMBER is launching a special, 4-week ‘Together we Talk’ online series throughout July. Every weekend, we will carve out a dedicated, safe, and uplifting morning space to unpack the unique cultural frameworks that shape our lives, celebrate our differences, and strengthen the sisterhood that unites us.
Grab your morning chai or coffee, get comfortable in your favorite loungewear, and join us from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM BST for these vital conversations:
The 4-Week Schedule is free to attend. Please do register as capacity is limited to ensure everyone has opportunity to speak and share.

Week 3 | Sunday, July 26th (8am - 9am): Careers
Showing Up in the Workplace: An empowering workshop exploring how our cultural conditioning and upbringing influence how we navigate professional environments. We’ll discuss how to overcome cultural barriers to self-advocacy, how to lead with confidence, and how to show up authentically at work while staying true to your identity.
Be prepared to speak about how your culture and upbringing impacts how you show up at work.
Week 4 | Saturday, August 1st (8am - 9am): Finance
Unpacking the Money Mindset: Following on from our Money Matters series, this is a practical, judgment-free space to dismantle how our culture and upbringing shape how we handle, view, and talk about money. We will discuss the financial habits we grew up with versus modern paths to building financial independence.
Be prepared to talk about how your culture and upbringing might influence how you approach money today.

In the current climate, it is more important than ever to come together. We want to focus on how our differences actually connect us, shape who we are, and provide the common ground that makes us resilient. Navigating life's big questions in a silo is tough, but together, we are stronger.
AMBER has always been about creating a spacr for women to speak candidly without explanation or apology. We want to bring together as many people from as many different cultures as possible to make these conversations truly rich and diverse. No matter your background, heritage, or faith, your voice belongs in this circle.
