Health Knowledge is Our Collective Power
For too long, cultural taboos and systemic gaps have left South Asian women to navigate their health in silence. This year, AMBERfest 2026 is breaking that silence. We are coming together to bridge the gap between medical expertise and our community’s needs.
A Space for Every Woman, at Every Stage
Whether you are a young woman starting your journey, a mother helping her children navigate their first cycles, or an elder moving through the wisdom of menopause—this event is built for you. We are tackling the vital issues that impact us all:
• Periods • Sexual Health • Fertility • Breast Cancer • Urinary Tract Infections • Menopause
Beyond the Stage: An Interactive Toolkit for Life
This isn’t just a series of lectures; it is a day of transformation and community activism.
Protect Our Health: Gain medical facts and practical steps to take control of your wellbeing.
Share Our Wisdom: Learn how to support the next generation of girls and boys so they grow up informed and empowered.
Interactive Workshops: Dedicated time for open discussion, questions, and hands-on learning in a safe, supportive space.
If we don’t share the word, who will?
Health information is a right, not a privilege. However, many women in our community remain unheard because they lack access to these vital conversations.
We are asking you to help be the bridge. Please share this invitation with your mothers, daughters, sisters, and neighbours—especially those who may not usually have access to this level of expertise.
"We are coming together not just for ourselves, but to ensure no Asian woman is left behind. Together, we move from being unheard to being unstoppable."
Let’s come together to make a difference!

Your Questions, Answered
-
AMBER is a community-led organisation, and all of our work is currently self-funded by the co-founders. In addition, everyone supporting AMBERfest gives their time voluntarily.
Ticket sales help us cover the core costs of delivering the event, including the venue, catering, and event logistics. We are always mindful of keeping ticket prices as accessible as possible, especially for those who would benefit most from attending.
As AMBER grows, we hope to secure funding and sponsorship that will help us make future events even more accessible to our community.
-
Yes, they are welcome to attend. All talks and presentations at AMBERfest will be delivered in English. If the attendee can bring a friend, family member, or supporter who can help with translation throughout the day, we would be very happy to welcome them.
We recognise there is still more work to do in making events like this fully accessible for everyone. As a small volunteer-led team, we are taking steps where we can and hope to build on this as AMBER grows.

-
Yes. A quiet room will be available throughout the day and can be used for prayer, reflection, or taking a moment away from the main event.
Please speak to a member of the AMBER team when you sign in, and we will show you where the space is.

We believe it is important for young people to be part of meaningful conversations around identity, equality, wellbeing, and community. However, some of the topics discussed throughout the day may be sensitive, and we want to create a space where everyone feels comfortable speaking openly and honestly. We ask that children who attend are aged 15 and over.
-
We recognise how important it is for men to be part of these conversations and to be allies in creating change.
At this stage, AMBER is still a growing community, and our priority is to first create a safe and comfortable space where women feel able to speak openly, share honestly, and connect with one another.
As AMBER grows, we hope to create future events and opportunities that actively include men as part of these important conversations.
